Terms of Service

EnglishPolskiDeutschFrançais

Version: 2026-10-14 Effective: 14 October 2026

In short. Readerr turns text you provide, such as the articles on your website, into audio read by synthetic voices, and plays it for your audience with a visible AI label. You keep the rights to your texts. We use them to make, check and serve the audio, and to keep improving how Readerr reads - for example through a shared pronunciation dictionary. We never train AI models on your texts. What each Plan includes and costs is described in our offer. You buy from us, and payments are handled by Link, a Stripe company, which acts as merchant of record. We work to keep Readerr available at all times and let you know in advance about planned maintenance, changes to these Terms, the end of your contract or the closing of the service. If you are a consumer, Section 23 gives you extra rights, including a 14-day right of withdrawal.

1. About these Terms

1.1. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of Readerr. Readerr is provided by IT Busters Marcin Rybak, a sole proprietorship registered in the Central Register and Information on Economic Activity (CEIDG), Poland, ul. Bolesława Chrobrego 12, 38-400 Krosno, NIP 6842342603, REGON 368728920 ("we", "us"). Our contact address for everything under these Terms is [email protected]. Our details are also in the Legal notice.

1.2. These Terms include, by reference:

  • the Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP");
  • the Data Processing Agreement ("DPA"), which applies whenever Customer Content contains personal data.

1.3. How we handle personal data for which we are the controller is described in the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy. The providers we use to run Readerr are listed on the Subprocessors page. How to report illegal content is described on the Reporting content page.

1.4. You accept these Terms when you create an Account, and we give you the Privacy Policy at the same time. We record which version of the Terms you accepted and when.

1.5. You can read, save and print these Terms at any time on our website. We send them free of charge on request.

2. Definitions

In these Terms:

  • Readerr or the Service - our service that converts text you provide into speech using synthetic voices (text-to-speech) and makes the resulting Audio available to you and your audiences, including through the Integrations, interfaces and tools we make available from time to time (such as plugins, an API, an embeddable player and a customer panel).
  • Customer or you - the person or organisation that creates an Account and accepts these Terms.
  • Consumer - a Customer described in Section 23.1(a).
  • Business Customer - a Customer who is neither a Consumer nor a person described in Section 23.1(b).
  • Account - your customer account in Readerr. One Account can hold several Publisher Sites.
  • Publisher Site - a website or other channel you own or are authorised to run, which you connect to your Account.
  • Integration - a way we offer to connect a Publisher Site to Readerr, for example a plugin or the API.
  • Customer Content - the text, titles and other content you send to Readerr, through an Integration or otherwise.
  • Audio - the audio files Readerr generates from Customer Content.
  • Player - the audio player we provide for making Audio available on a Publisher Site.
  • Listener - a person who uses the Player on a Publisher Site.
  • Pronunciation Dictionary - the shared list of "text fragment → how to read it" entries described in Section 11.
  • Offer - the description of our Trials, Plans and Top-ups, with their allowances, features, prices, billing periods and other commercial terms, published on our website or shown in the customer panel (Section 5.1).
  • Trial - a free trial described in Section 4.
  • Plan - a paid subscription with a character allowance, as described in the Offer.
  • Top-up - a one-off purchase of extra characters.
  • Grace Period - the period after the end of a Trial or a Plan described in Section 15.4.
  • Link - Sold through Link, LLC, a company in the Stripe group, which acts as merchant of record for Plans and Top-ups (Section 6).

3. Your Account

3.1. To use Readerr you need an Account. You register using an email address or another sign-in method we offer. The contract for use of the Service starts when your Account is created. It runs for an indefinite period until it ends under Section 15 or 16.

3.2. You must be at least 18 years old. If you create an Account for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf.

3.3. Give us true information and keep your email address up to date. We send notices under these Terms to that address.

3.4. Keep your sign-in methods secure, including access to the email account you use with Readerr. Anyone who can use them can sign in to your Account.

3.5. We give you credentials, such as API keys, to connect your Publisher Sites. Keep them secret. You are responsible for what is done with your credentials. If you think one is compromised, replace it in the customer panel or tell us.

3.6. When you register, we ask separately whether you want to receive marketing emails. Your consent is optional and is never pre-selected. You can withdraw it at any time; it does not affect your use of Readerr.

4. The Trial

4.1. A new Account can start a free Trial when the Offer includes one. How long the Trial lasts and how many characters it includes are stated in the Offer when you start it. If the characters are used up earlier, we pause synthesis of new Audio until you choose a Plan.

4.2. There is one Trial per website or organisation, as described in the Offer. To enforce this we keep a record of the websites that have used a Trial, and we may refuse a Trial for a website that has already had one, including under another Account. How long we keep that record is explained in the Privacy Policy.

4.3. The Trial is free. It does not turn into a paid Plan by itself. To continue after the Trial, you choose a Plan.

4.4. When the Trial ends without a Plan, the Grace Period applies (Section 15.4).

5. Plans, characters and Top-ups

5.1. The Plans and Top-ups we currently offer, their character allowances, features, prices, billing periods and the payment methods available are described in the Offer. Before you order, the Offer and Checkout show you the main features of what you are buying, its total price and its billing period.

5.2. Each Plan gives your Account a character allowance for each allowance period stated in the Offer. The allowance is shared by all Publisher Sites in the Account.

5.3. Usage is counted in characters of the article text we turn into Audio, as we receive it: after formatting and parts that are not read aloud are removed, and before the text is prepared for reading (so a number counts as the characters it is written with, not as the words it is read as). Spaces and punctuation count. An article counts each time we generate its Audio, for example again after its text or voice changes. The customer panel shows how many characters you have used.

5.4. We check the characters available before we generate Audio for an article. We may decline to generate Audio for an article that does not fit in the characters still available. When the allowance is used up, we pause synthesis of new Audio for the Account until more characters are available, for example when you buy a Top-up, move to a larger Plan or a new allowance period begins. Audio that already exists keeps playing.

5.5. Top-ups can be bought as described in the Offer. Top-up characters are used after the Plan's allowance. How long they remain available is stated in the Offer when you buy them.

5.6. A Plan renews automatically for the same period until you cancel it (Section 15.1).

5.7. The Offer in force when you place an order applies to that order and to the billing period it covers. We may change the Offer at any time for new orders. For a subscription you already have, a change to your Plan or its price applies only from your first billing period that starts after the change takes effect, and only after notice under Section 18.

6. Payment through Link

6.1. You buy Plans and Top-ups from us, and we are responsible to you for the Service. Payments are handled by Link, a company in the Stripe group, as merchant of record: Link takes the payment and issues invoices and receipts in its own name, calculates and pays VAT, and handles payment support and payment disputes, on the terms Link shows you in Checkout (the Sold Through Link Terms). Your receipt and bank statement show Link.

6.2. These Terms govern the Service and your contract with us. Link's terms govern how Link takes and handles your payment. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights you have under Link's terms or under the law.

6.3. The final price, including any VAT, is shown in Checkout before you pay.

6.4. You change your Plan in the customer panel; you manage your payment details, invoices and cancellation with the tools provided by Link, which you reach from the customer panel.

6.5. Where these Terms say that you get a refund, we issue it through Link. Link pays it to the payment method you used, unless you and Link agree otherwise. Link may also grant refunds itself under its own terms; a refund from Link counts towards what we owe you.

6.6. We do not receive or store your card details.

7. How Readerr works

7.1. You connect a Publisher Site to Readerr through an Integration. Customer Content reaches Readerr when you or your Integration send it, for example when you publish or update an article.

7.2. We prepare the text for reading aloud with automated tools, which may include rules and AI language models. Some of these tools may be run by our subprocessors; this can mean sending the whole text of an article to them. We use only providers that do not use the text to train their models. These tools only help decide how to read the text, for example numbers, dates, abbreviations or foreign names. They do not change, summarise or add to what the Audio says. If such a tool is unavailable, we prepare the text by other means.

7.3. We generate the Audio with synthetic voices, store it and make it available to Listeners.

7.4. The Player shows the Audio on the Publisher Site with a visible label in the language of the article, stating that the audio is generated by AI and may contain errors.

7.5. The Player and its listening statistics do not store anything on the Listener's device and do not read anything from it: no cookies, no localStorage, no sessionStorage or similar technologies. After a Listener presses play, the Player may send listening events so that you can see how your Audio is listened to. The events contain no IP address, user agent, cookie or identifier of the Listener. What they contain, and how Listener data is handled when files are delivered, is described in the DPA (Annex 1). We give you template wording for your own privacy policy in the publisher privacy notice. You decide, as controller, what you tell Listeners or ask of them.

7.6. We delete the text of each article once its Audio is ready. If processing runs into a problem, we keep the text until the problem is resolved, for at most 30 days. Titles, Audio and technical data about each Audio file stay until the article or the Account is deleted.

7.7. We do not promise that using Readerr makes a Publisher Site compliant with any accessibility law or standard, or with any other law. We build the Player to be accessible, but compliance of your site is your responsibility.

8. Customer Content

8.1. You keep all rights to Customer Content.

8.2. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use Customer Content only to:

  • (a) process the text, generate the Audio, store it and serve it as part of the Service;
  • (b) check the quality of the Audio - automatically, and by one of us reviewing the text and listening to the Audio when an automatic check flags a problem or you report one;
  • (c) extract entries for the Pronunciation Dictionary, as described in Section 11;
  • (d) produce aggregated statistics about how the Service works - for example processing times, error rates or how often text needed special reading - which contain no Customer Content and no personal data, and use them to maintain and improve the Service.

8.3. The licence ends when the Customer Content is deleted from Readerr. Copies in backups end when those backups expire (Section 16.4).

8.4. We may let our subprocessors use Customer Content only to the extent they need to provide the Service to us. We do not grant any other sublicence.

8.5. We do not use Customer Content, and do not let our providers use it, to train AI models. We do not use Customer Content or Audio in our marketing without your separate consent.

8.6. The Pronunciation Dictionary is not Customer Content. Section 11 explains why.

9. Audio and voices

9.1. We claim no rights in the Audio. As between you and us, any rights that exist in the Audio belong to you.

9.2. The voices are synthetic voices we make available in Readerr. We do not clone voices, and no voice imitates a real person.

9.3. The Service, the Player, our Integrations, the customer panel and our software remain ours or our licensors'. Some components, such as a plugin, may be provided under an open-source licence; where they are, that licence applies to the code of that component. Otherwise, you may use them only to use the Service under these Terms.

10. Your obligations

10.1. You confirm that you have the rights needed to send Customer Content to Readerr and to publish it as Audio on your Publisher Sites.

10.2. Customer Content and your use of Readerr must comply with the law and with the AUP. You must not send us content that is illegal. The AUP also contains restrictions that come with the text-to-speech model or models we use; they bind you.

10.3. You must not remove, hide, cover or weaken the AI label in the Player.

10.4. You must not remove or alter the metadata or other marks in the Audio files that show they were generated by AI, such as signatures or watermarks, whether they are there now or added later.

10.5. If you use Audio outside the Player, you must keep a clear notice that it was generated by AI, and must not remove the markings in the files.

10.6. You connect only Publisher Sites you own or are authorised to run.

10.7. You check what you publish. Section 12 explains that Audio can contain errors.

10.8. You are responsible for informing Listeners about the Player and its listening statistics in your privacy policy, and for obtaining any consent the law requires for them, for example through your consent banner (see Section 7.5). The listening statistics are part of the Player and cannot be switched off for a single Publisher Site.

11. Pronunciation Dictionary

11.1. To read names, foreign words and abbreviations correctly, Readerr keeps a shared Pronunciation Dictionary. Each entry is a pair: a text fragment and how to read it (for example, how to pronounce a brand name).

11.2. Entries are taken from the texts we process. An entry is stored without any link to the article or to the Customer it came from. We exclude names of private individuals from the Pronunciation Dictionary; they are used only while the current article is processed. The exclusion is automated and works as far as is technically possible; if such a name is kept by mistake, we delete it as soon as we learn of it. We may also add entries by hand. Before a new entry is added, an automated check confirms that it is plausible and not an attempt to manipulate the Pronunciation Dictionary. When the check refuses a proposal, we keep a record of the refusal, including the Publisher Site it came from, for up to 90 days after the proposal was last seen, only to detect and stop such attempts. The Privacy Policy gives the details.

11.3. The Pronunciation Dictionary serves all Customers. We are its controller, on the basis of our legitimate interest in correct pronunciation across the Service. The Privacy Policy explains this in detail, and the DPA allows this use.

11.4. Entries are not Customer Content. They stay in the Pronunciation Dictionary after your contract ends.

11.5. Anyone can ask us to delete an entry, or object to it, by writing to [email protected]. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle such requests.

12. Quality and regeneration

12.1. Audio is generated automatically. It can contain errors in pronunciation and reading. The label in the Player says so.

12.2. If you find an error, tell us at [email protected]. You can ask us to generate the Audio of the affected article again.

12.3. A change in the Pronunciation Dictionary does not regenerate existing Audio. Audio is regenerated when the article text or the voice changes, or on request.

12.4. When Audio is replaced, we keep the previous file for 7 days and then delete it.

13. Availability and changes to the Service

13.1. We aim to keep Readerr available at all times and make reasonable efforts to do so. We do not offer a service-level agreement (SLA) or guaranteed uptime unless we agree one with you separately.

13.2. We let you know about planned maintenance in advance whenever we can.

13.3. We develop the Service continuously. We may add, change or remove features, Integrations, sign-in methods and technical details for valid reasons: to adapt to changes in the law or to decisions of public authorities, to changes in the platforms and services our Integrations work with or that we use to run Readerr, to technical developments, or to improve security or the quality of the Audio. Such changes do not require a change to these Terms. If a change materially reduces what you have paid for, we tell you by email at least 30 days in advance, and you may end your contract before the change takes effect with a proportional refund for the unused paid period (Section 6.5).

14. Suspension

14.1. We may suspend all or part of the Service for your Account if:

  • (a) you or your Customer Content breach the law or the AUP;
  • (b) your use of Readerr threatens the security or stability of the Service or other Customers;
  • (c) a payment for your Plan is not made.

14.2. We warn you before we suspend, when we can. We may act without warning when the breach is serious or the risk is immediate, for example with clearly illegal content or an attack on our systems.

14.3. Suspension is proportionate. Where it is enough, we act only on the affected content, for example by disabling the Audio of a single article instead of the whole Account.

14.4. When we restrict content or the Service because of content, we tell you why, as described in Section 21.

14.5. We lift the suspension when its cause is removed.

15. Cancellation, termination and wind-down

15.1. You cancel a Plan at any time, with the tools you reach from the customer panel (Section 6.4). The cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. The Service continues until then.

15.2. We may end your contract without any breach on your part by giving you 30 days' notice by email. You get a proportional refund for the unused paid period.

15.3. We may end your contract for a breach if you seriously or repeatedly breach the law, the AUP or these Terms, and a suspension under Section 14 has not solved the problem or cannot solve it. Where the breach can be remedied, we first ask you by email to remedy it and give you at least 14 days to do so. We tell you the reasons. We do not end contracts at will and without notice.

15.4. Grace Period. When a Trial or a Plan ends, the Player keeps working on your Publisher Sites for the Grace Period stated in the Offer. After that, we stop showing the Player on your Publisher Sites. Your Audio stays stored until your Account is deleted, so you can pick up where you left off by choosing a Plan.

15.5. Accounts whose Grace Period ended 30 days ago are deleted automatically, as described in Section 16.

15.6. Wind-down. If we decide to close Readerr, we tell you at least 90 days in advance. During that time we give you, on request, a list of the addresses of your Audio files so that you can download them. You get a proportional refund for any paid period after the closing date.

16. Account deletion and your data

16.1. You can ask to delete your Account in the customer panel, either now or at the end of your paid period. If you choose the end of the period, we stop your subscription from renewing. We carry out the deletion within 30 days of your request. You can withdraw the request until it is carried out.

16.2. Deleting your Account does not by itself entitle you to a refund. Your rights under Sections 13.3, 15.2, 15.6, 18 and 23 are not affected.

16.3. Deletion covers your Account data and your Audio files in our systems, including the copies held by our storage and content delivery providers. Records of administrative actions stay without personal data. We keep only what the Privacy Policy says we keep after deletion, for the periods stated there: the record of websites that used a Trial (Section 4.2) and the proof of marketing consent.

16.4. Our database backups are kept for at most 30 days. Deleted data disappears from them when they expire.

16.5. When you delete an article, or your Integration tells us that it was deleted or unpublished on your Publisher Site, we delete its Audio and data.

16.6. What we do with personal data in Customer Content at the end of the contract is set out in the DPA.

17. Liability

17.1. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for damage caused intentionally, for injury to life or health, or any liability that the law does not allow to be limited or excluded.

17.2. Subject to Section 17.1, our total liability to a Business Customer for all claims connected with these Terms and the Service is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event that caused the damage, and in any case at least EUR 100.

17.3. Subject to Section 17.1, we are not liable to a Business Customer for lost profits.

17.4. We are not liable for the content of Customer Content or for the consequences of publishing it. We are not liable for errors in Audio that you could have noticed by checking what you publish, where you did not report them to us.

17.5. A Business Customer indemnifies us against claims of third parties, and the reasonable costs of defending them, arising from Customer Content or from publishing it, including claims that it infringes the rights of others. We tell you about such a claim without delay, let you take part in the defence and do not settle it without your consent, which you must not unreasonably withhold.

17.6. Sections 17.2 to 17.5 do not apply to Consumers, or to the sole traders described in Section 23.1(b). Our liability to them follows the law.

18. Changes to these Terms and prices

18.1. We may change these Terms and our prices for valid reasons: changes in the law or in decisions of public authorities, changes in our costs (including the costs of our providers and taxes), changes to the Service under Section 13.3, and improving security or the clarity of these Terms. We tell you by email at least 30 days before a change takes effect, and we explain what changes.

18.2. If you do not agree with the change, you can end your contract before the change takes effect. You then get a proportional refund for the unused paid period.

18.3. Changes that are only in your favour, and changes the law requires, may take effect sooner.

18.4. If the change is significant, we may ask you to accept the new version in the customer panel.

18.5. A price change applies from your first billing period that starts after the change takes effect (Section 5.7).

19. Complaints

19.1. You can complain about the Service by email to [email protected].

19.2. To help us, include your Account email, a description of the problem, when it happened and, if relevant, the article or Audio concerned, and what you would like us to do.

19.3. We answer within 14 days of receiving the complaint, by email.

19.4. Complaints about payments, invoices or VAT may also be sent to Link, which handles them on its own terms.

20. Technical requirements and risks

20.1. To use Readerr you need:

  • a device with internet access and a current web browser with JavaScript and cookies enabled (for the customer panel);
  • an email address (we send notices to it);
  • for an Integration: the requirements stated in its documentation.

20.2. Listeners need a current web browser.

20.3. As with any online service, risks include malware, phishing and unauthorised access to your email account. We never ask you to send us your sign-in details or API keys. Keep your devices and email account secure.

20.4. You must not provide content of an unlawful nature through Readerr.

21. Illegal content and the Digital Services Act

21.1. For Audio, Readerr is a hosting service under the EU Digital Services Act. Our single point of contact for authorities and users is [email protected], in English and Polish.

21.2. Anyone can report illegal content to us by email. How to report, and what we do with reports, is on the Reporting content page.

21.3. We do not check Customer Content before it is processed. We act on reports and on other information that comes to our attention. Decisions on content are taken by a person; we do not use automated means to decide on content.

21.4. Measures we may take are: asking you to remove or correct an article, disabling access to specific Audio, and suspending or ending the Service under Sections 14 and 15.

21.5. When we take such a measure, we give you a statement of reasons: what we did, its scope and duration, the facts, the legal or contractual ground, and how you can seek redress. If you disagree, you can reply to our email with your arguments and we will consider them. You can also go to court.

22. Data protection

22.1. For personal data about you and your users of the customer panel, and for other data described in the Privacy Policy, we are the controller.

22.2. For personal data in Customer Content and in listening statistics, you are the controller and we are your processor. The DPA applies. If the DPA and these Terms conflict on data protection, the DPA prevails.

22.3. The Pronunciation Dictionary is an exception to Section 22.2: we are its controller (Section 11).

22.4. The providers we use to run Readerr are listed on the Subprocessors page. We tell you about changes as set out in the DPA. A change of provider does not change these Terms.

23. Consumers

23.1. This Section applies to:

  • (a) a Consumer: a natural person who concludes a contract with us for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession;
  • (b) a natural person running a business who concludes the contract directly connected with that business, where the contract is not of a professional nature for them, as shown by its content and the business activities they have registered or, where these do not show it, as they tell us by the time the contract is concluded - to the extent Polish law gives them the protection of a consumer.

In this Section, "you" means such a person. If other parts of these Terms conflict with this Section, this Section prevails.

Right of withdrawal

23.2. You have the right to withdraw from a contract for a Plan or a Top-up within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period ends 14 days after the day the contract is concluded, that is, the day your purchase is confirmed in Checkout. Each Top-up and each move to a higher Plan is a separate contract with its own withdrawal period. The automatic renewal of a Plan is not a new contract and does not start a new withdrawal period.

23.3. The easiest way is the Withdraw from contract here button on the billing page of the customer panel, or the form on our website at readerr.app/withdraw (it is filed with us and a person handles it), available for 14 days after each purchase. To withdraw, tell us of your decision by a clear statement, for example an email to [email protected] or a letter to our address in Section 1.1. You can use the model withdrawal form in Annex 1, but you do not have to. It is enough to send your statement before the withdrawal period ends. We confirm receipt by email without delay. Link's terms also let you ask Link's customer support to cancel within the cooling-off period; you may use either channel, and your rights under this Section do not depend on which one you choose.

23.4. Refund. If you withdraw, you get back all payments for the contract you withdrew from, without undue delay and in any case within 14 days of the day we receive your statement. The payment was taken by Link, so the refund is paid through Link: we issue it and make sure it is made within that time. It is paid using the same payment method you used, unless you expressly agree otherwise. You pay no fees for the refund.

23.5. Service during the withdrawal period. Before you buy, we ask whether you want us to start providing the service at once. We start only if you ask us to. If you then withdraw, you pay for the part of the service provided until you told us of your withdrawal, and we refund the rest. For a Top-up, that part is the share of its characters you used. For a Plan, it is the larger of the share of the paid period that has passed and the share of the period's characters you used. If you did not ask us to start at once, you pay nothing for the service provided during the withdrawal period.

23.6. Using the service during the withdrawal period does not affect your right of withdrawal.

23.7. Confirmation. After each purchase we send you by email a confirmation of the contract. It states the main features of what you bought as described in the Offer on the day of purchase (such as the character allowance, the allowance period and the Grace Period), its price and billing period, and a link to these Terms and to the model withdrawal form. It also includes the information described in Section 23.3 and the text of these Terms as an attachment.

23.8. After you withdraw from the purchase of a Plan, the paid service under that contract ends and your Account continues as after a cancelled Plan (Section 15.4). After you withdraw from a top-up, the pack leaves your allowance. After you withdraw from a change of Plan, your subscription goes back to the Plan you had before the change, and that earlier contract continues. We make these changes when we process your withdrawal; where a person reviews your statement first, that is when they accept it.

Conformity with the contract

23.9. We must provide the Service in conformity with the contract. If it is not in conformity, you have the rights the law gives you for digital services: to ask us to bring it into conformity; and, where the law allows, to ask for a price reduction or to end the contract. A price reduction or refund is paid through Link (Section 6.5). These rights cannot be limited by these Terms.

23.10. Complaints about conformity follow Section 19. If we do not answer your complaint within 14 days of receiving it, we are deemed to have accepted it.

Changes, liability and mandatory protection

23.11. Section 18 (30 days' notice of changes, with the right to end the contract and get a proportional refund) applies to you in full, including to changes to your Plan or its price under Section 5.7. A change to the Service under Section 13.3 costs you nothing, and we tell you about it clearly. If it materially and negatively affects your access to or use of the Service, we tell you in advance by email, and you may end the contract free of charge within 30 days after the change takes effect or after we tell you about it, whichever is later; you then get a proportional refund for the unused paid period. This does not apply if you can keep using the unchanged Service at no extra cost.

23.12. Sections 17.2 to 17.5 do not apply to you (Section 17.6).

23.13. If you live in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of that country where the law gives it to you, even though these Terms are governed by Polish law.

23.14. You can bring a claim in the court competent under the law, including, where the law allows, the courts of the country where you live.

Out-of-court resolution

23.15. If a complaint does not resolve a dispute, we agree to take part in an out-of-court consumer dispute procedure, for example mediation by the Provincial Inspectorate of Trade Inspection (Wojewódzki Inspektorat Inspekcji Handlowej, WIIH). Our answer confirms this on a durable medium such as email. In Poland, help is also available from the municipal or district consumer ombudsman (miejski or powiatowy rzecznik konsumentów). Information on consumer dispute resolution is available on the website of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK).

24. Governing law and courts

24.1. These Terms and the contract are governed by Polish law. For Consumers, Section 23.13 applies.

24.2. Disputes with Business Customers are resolved by the common court competent for our registered place of business. Disputes with Consumers are resolved by the court competent under the law (Section 23.14).

25. Final provisions

25.1. Force majeure. Neither party is liable for failing to perform because of events beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, war, large-scale outages of internet or energy infrastructure, or acts of public authorities. The affected party tells the other party without delay and does what it reasonably can to limit the effects.

25.2. Transfer. We may transfer the contract to another business if we transfer the business that runs Readerr. We tell you in advance by email. The transfer does not reduce your rights. If you do not agree to it, you may end the contract before it takes effect, with a proportional refund for the unused paid period. You may transfer your Account only with our consent.

25.3. Notices. We send notices to your Account email address. You send notices to [email protected].

25.4. Entire agreement. These Terms, the AUP and the DPA are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. They replace earlier arrangements about the same subject. The Offer sets the commercial terms of each order (Section 5.7).

25.5. Severability. If a provision of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in force. The parties replace the invalid provision with a valid one that comes as close as possible to its purpose. For Consumers, the law decides what replaces it.

25.6. Language. These Terms are written in English. We also publish them in Polish, German and French. If the versions differ, the English version prevails, except for Consumers: for a Consumer, the version in the official language of the country where they live prevails, if we publish one, and the Polish version always prevails for Consumers living in Poland.

25.7. No waiver. If we do not enforce a right at once, we do not waive it.
