How to check Readerr audio
Every audio file Readerr makes carries a signed C2PA manifest (also called Content Credentials) and ID3 tags. Both say that the voice is AI-generated.
To check a file, upload it to the Content Credentials verify tool, or run the open-source c2patool on it. Either one shows the manifest and who signed it.
For now the tool may show the signer as unknown or not trusted, because our certificate is not yet on the C2PA trust list. The marks are still in the file and can be read.
Removing the metadata or re-encoding the file removes the signature. Our Terms forbid that.
